Good

The pool area was very good and always cleaned . We liked especially the massage pool . Breakfast excellent and dinner mostly fine. Staff in the dining room nice and the staff in the lobby too.

The balcony was not clean when we arrived. Ants where dancing on the bedside table. People smoked on the balcony next room so we got The smoke in to us. It was difficult to talk with the staff who cleand the room Because none of them didn’t understand English.

I would recommend this place for family with kids not for a couples.

Beautiful property and excellent location near to the beach, bus stop and restaurants. Rooftop is great addition to enjoy the day in peace including pool jacuzzi and access to bar & snacks - all inclusive for £50 per person on half board which is great,

The staff, especially the bar staff both indoor and pool area not very nice. Never simile and even though the water is for free you need to literally beg to get some ice. Reception and housekeeping staff great.

Great family hotel, good location.

Bitacora is a perfect hotel for a family vacation. There is a lot of activity for kids. All family members could find something to eat at breakfast and lunch/dinner. I could also recommend the spa.

You have to take into consideration that this is a pure family hotel. Kids were running in the hallway screaming and having fun really early in the morning. There was one thing that I absolutely hated, that was the battle for sunbed. I found it really frustrating that most of the sunbeds were reserved during the whole day, even if the people who reserved it only used it for couple of hours.

Good location and good entertainment for the kids. Good drinks and most of the staff were very nice.

The say you can't reserve sunbeds yet everybody does it and they do nothing about it! I talked to both the reception and the lifeguards and nothing changed. The food is not very good and my kids couldn't go to the water slides even tho we would be in the pool to catch them when they came down yet they could go to slides bigger then this in Aqualand.

Great stay for a family vacation

The outdoor area, pools and entertainment for the children was really good and I recommend Bitácora for families travelling with kids. The food was also nice and the buffet always had something for everyone. The location of the hotel was excellent, short walk to nearby beaches, shops and restaurants.

The food was great, however the dining area was aweful. It was so loud and busy that we did not enjoy our meals properly. The hotel room itself was okay but we did not have a king bed, housekeeping did not always meet our standards, for example we ran out of soap a couple of times, as well as toilet paper and so on. I would not recommend the loundry service, as it is very expensive (3 euros per piece) and they managed to distroy one of my favorite shirts while ironing it.

Great stay!

Fab stay here, the kids loved the pool and the activities. The location is perfect, and the breakfast buffet was really good.

The swimming pools, water sildes, playgground, miniclub and entertainment for the kids were all great. Location was very good. 5 min walk to the beach, restaurants and shopping areas. Staff were all very friendly and helpful.

The selection of food in the buffet was vast and quite good however both myself and my husband got food poisioning for 24hrs while there. I would say the largest problem is the hoards of unsupervised kids running wild around the buffet area and serving themselves food with their "hands" at the buffet. Its no wonder we got sick! If this could be supervised better then it would reduce the risks.

Great location, cleaning staff was on point. Lobby was pristine. Loads of activities during the day. Fun team did a great job. Parties almost every night at the bar

The room was a bit shabby. Both doors to the hallway and balcony were crooked and didn't seal properly meaning every sound transfered through both doors. Room was in front of elevators so every word from guests waiting for the elevators could be heard in the room. Sounds from the parties at the bar could be heard clearly in the room. From singing of the performer to the talking of guests. The room was on the 8th floor overlooking the pool.

A proper hotel with friendly staff and smooth service, we had a pleasant stay.

Good location, close to the ocean and shopping street. Nice and big pool area, activity program by the pool during the day and in hotel lounge and bar during the evenings which the children enjoyed. Wide food selection in the morning and evening buffe. Friendly and humorous staff. Comfortable to have laundry drying rack on the balcony and a shop in the lobby with the most essential holiday and beach stuff.

It was a bit annoying that all the hotel information, wifi codes, excursion options were only available through the hotel app which wasn't easy and comfortable enough to set up. The staff was helpful to assist but still some members of our family did not manage to get access and had to live a whole week without internet. :D Communication with the hotel prior to the trip through Booking.com did not work, we did not receive answers to the sent messages. Quite noisy air conditioning but we preferred the open balcony door anyway. Pillows could be more comfortable and duvet cover preferable over simple linen.

Kids oriented hotel, less for adults

Comfortable big room, rather clean. Many options for lunch and dinner and really pleasant and professional staff.

Main demographic is young families with kids, having any semblance of peace during meals was next to impossible. The restaurant is super crowded at all times during breakfast/dinner. The 3 lifts are equally busy in the morning, better take the steps if possible. The only adults exclusively communal space in the hotel is the hotel roof for €50 per day/person, although drinks are included it makes the stay way more expensive. Also no gym, although I think I remember a gym from my previous stay.
